Bring your horse to Kensington Metropark & ride along 19 miles of marked equestrian trails. Pass through wooded, hilly terrain, open fields and scenic views of the Huron River and Kent Lake as you observe wildlife and waterfowl along the path. Various terrain accomodates all skill levels. A staging area is located on Martindale Road. A release waiver and bridle tag(located on Membership page) is required in advance. Dogs are not permitted on the trails. Directions to the Kensington Metropark Horse Staging Area
From Lansing-
I- 96 east to exit 155 Milford Road. Make a left off the exit ramp. Take Milford Road 3.3 miles north and make a left on Dawson Road. Turm right on Martindale, staging area is 1/2 mile down on left.
From Flint-
Take US-23 South to M-59 East. At the light on the exit ramp make a left and continue down M59 to Hickory Ridge Road and take a right. Take that to the next light (GM Road) and make a left. Turn right on Martindale, staging area is 1/2 mile down on right.
From Detroit-
I- 96 west to exit 155B Milford Road. Make a right off the exit ramp. Take Milford Road 3 miles north and make a left on Dawson Road. Turn right on Martindale, staging area is 1/2 mile down on left.
